Many Magic Guild Halls to had portraits done of the more talented members that worked or trained there, hung in the halls, as subtle bragging to visitors. One such portrait in Zephilia's Guild was tucked in an alcove in the library. A girl with auburn hair scowled down, in a pink frilly thing with a vague resemblance to sorceror's robes. The artist did what he could, but the confection clashed horribly with her hair and washed out her face, and the overall effect was a girl drowning in spun sugar.
That probably explained the singe marks...
