The first step in any Internet search was to remove the obvious pornography sites. This was especially true when one's computer had access to not just one world's Internet, but any possible construction of the term. The second step was to check out the sites, then take a breather after finding the unobvious porn sites.
He had printed out all the information and raided the library for books, and had strewn his favorite table with them -- all stacked neatly, in order of apparent relevance. He picked up a paper and began to read. Frowning, he flipped ahead, then moved it to a stack on the other side of the table. The next book got returned to a shelf after a chapter. The third, however, seemed to work just fine.
"What are you doing, Mister Zack?"
Zack looked up to see Amelia and Zelgadis standing over him. He grinned. "Reading. I thought to myself, it would be a nice surprise to Katt... er, Kattarin... if I were to actually find out a bit about her people. So I dug out everything I could find on wood elves." He glanced over to the pack of books. "This might take a while."
"That's really very sweet," Amelia said. "Isn't it, Mister Zelgadis."
Zelgadis had a strange look on his face. "What? Oh. Yeah." He and Amelia had stepped away from the table and Zack's earshot before he added, under his breath, "Though, given how accurate some of those books are, I think her first reaction will be to laugh her head off."
