Toph doesn't think to what she'll do after the war. Sokka and Katara talk about going back to the South Pole, and Aang wants to see if anything's left of the Air Nomads, and Zuko says he'll go looking for his mother and uncle. But, Toph stays silent when they talk of the future.
She'd like to imagine she could go home as well, to people who not only love her but also understand her or want to. But, until her parents are willing to meet her halfway on that, she'll let her future drift, uncertain.
